The default alarm sound on your iPhone can get a little stale after a while. You can change it to any song or tone you like.
You can do this in the Clock app. Its black-and-white icon is on the home screen and in your App Library.
Simple Tones
The default alarm sound on your iPhone is pretty good, but it can be a little dull after you’ve been using it for a while. If you want to get rid of that monotonous tone and replace it with something more interesting, you can customize your alarms in a few different ways.
First, there are a lot of free and cheap alarm tones available on Apple’s Tone Store that you can download and set as your default. To do this, head over to the Clock app and tap on a particular alarm you’d like to change the sound of.
Next, navigate to the Sound section and scroll down to Ringtones. This will give you a list of all the different ringtones that Apple offers for its alarm clocks. Choose one you want to use, and a checkmark will appear next to it.
After you’ve selected your new ringtone, tap Save to save the new sound and go back to the main screen. If you have a Tone Store subscription, you’ll also be able to purchase additional tones that can be added to your collection as well.
Alternatively, you can also set your favorite song from your Apple Music library as an alarm. Once you select a song, it will appear under the SONGS header with an orange checkmark on it. This means that you can quickly switch between songs while setting your alarm.
Another way to customize your alarm sounds is by using the voice memo feature. This allows you to record a voice message that you can play as an alarm, which is a great way to add a personal touch to your iPhone’s wake-up routine.
This is a bit more work than the simple tone option, but it’s a fun way to personalize your device. You can even use a recording of your children singing or playing a song as your alarm.
While these customization options are a bit tedious, they can really help you make your iPhone feel more personal and unique. Plus, it can make your life a whole lot easier when it comes to getting out of bed in the morning.
Song
If you find that the alarm sound on your iPhone is not working well, you can easily change it to something you like. The Clock app allows you to change the song that plays when your alarm goes off, whether you created it in the app, with Siri, or by creating a Sleep/Wake Up schedule (formerly known as Bedtime).
You can also use the Clock app to change the alarm sound for any other alarms that you have set up. Just tap Edit in the top-left corner of the screen and choose which one you want to change it for.
Next, scroll down to the Sound option and tap on it. This will bring up a list of songs that you can use as your alarm. You can pick from a variety of music, including some of your most recent purchases.
Once you’ve chosen a song, tap on Save to add it as your new alarm sound. When you do, your new alarm will be available to use on the Clock app.
Another option is to use a voice recording as your new alarm sound. If you have a voice memo on your device, you can transfer it to your computer and convert it into a tone using the Garageband app.
This is the best way to create a custom ringtone or alarm for your iPhone. You can even turn it into a snooze alarm, too.
If you need to change the volume of your alarm on your iPhone, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and drag the slider under Ringer and Alerts. As you do so, you’ll hear the change in volume and an alert will play to let you know that it’s happening.
Some people are unhappy with the volume of their iPhone’s alarm, or just don’t like the sound that comes with it. This is usually caused by outdated iPhone software or a previously added alarm that was set up on an older model of iPhone.
You can fix this problem by updating the iOS on your iPhone. Alternatively, you can delete the alarm and reset it to its default settings. Or, you can just disconnect any Bluetooth devices that might be causing the issue. If that doesn’t work, you can perform a factory reset on your device to clear out any old data that may be causing the problem.
Apple Music
Changing the alarm sound is an easy way to get a more pleasant start to your day. You can use a purchased tone from the iTunes Store, or even create your own.
To change the alarm sound on your iPhone, open up the Clock app. Tap Edit in the top-left corner and select the alarm you want to change the sound for.
Then, tap on Sound located halfway down the screen and choose a sound that you like. These sounds will play when you tap on them, and you can also preview them to see which one you’d prefer.
Once you’ve selected your preferred sound, you can tap Save to set the alarm. When the alarm goes off, your chosen song will play instead of the usual alarm tone.
Apple Music is a subscription-based streaming service that offers over 50 million songs. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to set Apple Music songs as an iPhone alarm without subscription, because the songs are protected by DRM. However, there is a workaround that can help you download the songs from Apple Music to your computer for free and then set them as an iPhone alarm.
You can download Apple Music tracks and convert them to MP3 format for setting as your iPhone alarm sound with the help of TuneFab Apple Music Converter, which has no requirement for an Apple Music membership. This tool can easily convert Apple Music M4P songs, playlists, audiobooks and more to MP3 or other popular formats so you can keep them on your computer, transfer them to your iPhone and use them as your favorite alarm sounds.
Another option is to download a local song from your iPhone library and make it as the alarm tone. This method works best if you have a collection of songs that you’ve transferred from your Mac to your iPhone and would prefer to use them as your alarm.
The process for using a downloaded song as an iPhone alarm is similar to the method for choosing a purchased song from the iTunes store. You’ll first need to make sure that the song is available offline. Luckily, Apple Music has a feature called “Make Available Offline” that allows you to download songs for offline listening. Once the song is download, you can go to the Sound menu in the Clock app and tap “Pick a song”. The song will then appear under the SONGS heading and will have an orange checkmark next to it to tell you which song has been selected as your alarm.
iTunes Store
If you want to change the alarm sound on your iPhone, there are several options available. One option is to use a song from your iTunes library as an alarm. Another option is to buy a custom tone and download it to your iPhone. You can even set up a voice memo as an alarm sound.
Apple’s iTunes Store is the world’s largest music store, with millions of songs, albums, videos, and other media items for purchase. It also offers free items like podcasts and educational lectures. The store syncs with Apple’s Movie and Music apps on your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, as well as the iTunes app on your Mac or Windows PC.
You can also add ringtones to your iPhone from the iTunes Store. You can find a wide selection of alarm tones, including classics and contemporary hits.
Once you’ve found a tone that you like, you can purchase it and have it downloaded to your iPhone in a few simple steps. Just sign in to your iTunes account and you’ll be able to access the tone from within your iPhone’s Settings menu.
Then you can choose to set it as your default ringtone, or assign it to a specific contact. You can also use the tone to alert people when you receive phone calls or text messages.
If you’re not a big fan of the tone that your iPhone uses for alarms, it might be time to switch things up. Instead of a simple ringtone, try setting up a song from your library or an audio clip that’s more in line with your mood. To do this, open the Clock app and tap on the alarm tab at the bottom of the screen. Next, scroll up and tap on the “Sound” option.
