Funko pop is a line of collectible vinyl figures featuring characters from popular movies and TV shows. It’s easy to find a pop for almost any fandom, with some figures containing unique designs and special features.
Steve Rogers’ moment of realization that he is worthy of Mjolnir makes this Funko Pop an essential addition to any Marvel collection. It’s also a great conversation piece.
Black Panther
The Black Panther is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel franchise. He has a unique look, with silver claws and an elongated skull. This makes him stand out from the other figures in the Funko Pop line. This figure is a great addition to any collection.
After witnessing a series of reality-threatening incursions, T’Challa allows Professor X, Iron Man, Namor, and Beast to meet in Wakanda for a meeting of minds that eventually morphs into the Illuminati. Though he disapproves of the group’s secretive methods, he soon rejoins them as they fight to save the world from Proxima Midnight and Thanos.
This stylized POP vinyl features the King of Wakanda in his Warrior Falls outfit. He is accompanied by his honorary bodyguards, the Dora Milaje, and by his predecessor as king, Shuri. Also included is his rival, Erik Killmonger. This 3-inch tall figure is a must-have for any Marvel fan.
Captain America
Aside from the X-Men and Avengers, Funko Pop offers a wide range of Marvel characters. There are also figures from other areas of pop culture, such as The Office and Game of Thrones. Collectors can build a Funko Pop collection that reflects their interests and passions.
Unlike the sluggish and overwrought “Thor” and the self-defeating and sloppy “Incredible Hulk,” Joe Johnston’s Captain America is a film that combines laughs, genuinely rousing moments, and a fully packed agenda into something that can keep moving under its own weight.
It features the Square-jawed hero’s origin story, in which he is recruited by the CIA as an avatar of Greatest Generation values in a world of baby boomer alienation. He must take on a Nazi agent known as the Red Skull, who wants to crush America and Adolf Hitler at the same time. The figure features a metallic paint finish and glow-in-the-dark feature that make it a must-have for fans of the Marvel franchise.
Thanos
The Mad Titan is a ruthless super-villain who is seeking to assemble the Infinity Stones. Using the Stones, he intends to bend reality to his will. The Stones are called the Soul Stone, Mind Stone, Space Stone, and Time Stone. They are found in various places throughout the universe, including Xandar, Knowhere, and Thanos’ own Sanctuary.
Originally created by writer-artist Jim Starlin and Stan Lee in 1973, Thanos is a gigantic alien who wears golden alien armor and boots. He is a member of the Titan Eternal subspecies and has godlike powers.
A nihilistic extraterrestrial, he has used his godlike powers to destroy countless planets and lifeforms. He is obsessed with impressing Mistress Death, who he calls his lover, and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He is also very powerful, with a capacity for self-regeneration. This allows him to outlast and even defeat cosmic-level super-heroes such as Adam Warlock.
Stan Lee
It’s no wonder the Stan Lee Funko Pop is one of the most sought-after figures!
Directed by David Gelb (Jiro Dreams of Sushi), this film traces the career of Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee through a mix of archival interviews, home videos, and elaborate still dioramas. This unique style works well for a film that could have been cheesy if it used reenactments or animation.
Gelb reveals how Lee envisioned his heroes as flawed, relatable characters with ordinary problems like paying rent and getting girls. He also wanted stories to have morals without being preachy. Lee was a master salesman, and his ruthless approach helped him stay in the biz.
Unfortunately, the film skips over some of Lee’s darkest moments and fails to mention his strained relationship with daughter JC. It also glosses over the many reports of elder abuse that were leveled against him in his later years. Despite these shortcomings, this is still an entertaining and informative film about a true legend of comics.funko pop marvel
